Urban Truant does not offer RYA practical courses, but we do offer informal tuition for busy and discerning clients. We know there are plenty of people out there who want to learn how to sail, but who don’t want to share a cabin. Those same people want to eat good food – of their choice. And if they’re not sailing, they perhaps don’t want to go to the pub every night, but perhaps spend some evenings relaxing on board with a glass of wine and the TV, or catching up with work on their laptop.

Tuition tailored to what you want to learn

In addition to this, they want quality instruction from experienced and like-minded sailors. They want the skipper to be intuitive to their strong points and work on areas they’re not so confident on. And after all of that, they want to be able to put into practice what they've learnt. What’s more, they don’t mind paying a little more to get this kind of service.
