Corporate sailing days with Urban Truant incorporate the mix of sailing and leisure time that you would like. Everyone will have plenty of opportunity to have a go at sailing the boats and a team task in the afternoon is a great way for people to really get to know each other and work together.

Your package will include a late afternoon drinks and canapé reception served on deck. And should you opt for an overnight stay then the boat(s) are your hotel for the evening (NB the maximum number of guests for an overnight stay is usually less than for a day sail where no accommodation is required). You could even incorporate a RIB for some fun rides. All of Urban Truant’s prices are inclusive – there are no hidden extras.

Timings of a typical day sail

After breakfast, you’ll head into The Solent with your skipper for a morning of sail training and boat familiarisation. Urban Truant skippers are hand-picked for their personality and experience. They are additionally RYA instructors and will ensure the sailing is suited to all levels of experience on board, and hands-on for everyone.
 

The yachts anchor or moor in a Solent marina for an hour or two whilst your hostess serves a drinks and canapé reception followed by lunch. You can add lunch-time RIB rides (priced separately) which enable you to add exciting thrill rides to the event.

Lunch will be a freshly prepared dish suited to the weather that day and we also ensure we cater for most dietary requirements. Alternatively lunch can be arranged at a yacht club or local restaurant.
 

Round off the afternoon with a relaxing sail. Alternatively we can organise a team-building task or some competitive “round the cans” racing; the friendly rivalry can make it great fun for all!

Your event will start at 0900 and finish at 1630/1700 at Mercury Yacht Harbour in Hamble (unless otherwise agreed).

Prices

From £1,550 + VAT per boat per day. This price is for a 40 foot yacht and covers all of your on-board costs including the yacht, skipper, hostess and use of wet weather gear. Drinks, canapés, lunch and all on board refreshments are also included.

The above price works out at £155 + VAT per guest (based on 10 people). Not bad considering you have 100% of everyone’s attention for 100% of the time.
